Residential Electrical Installations. From wiring new homes to upgrading existing systems
Residential Electrical Installations
A residential electrical installation is the wiring of an entire home or building. The installation includes the power source, meters, panels, and distribution boards. A residential electrical installation starts with a power source. This can be a generator, solar panels, or grid-connected power supply. The power source will need to be connected to a meter that records how much electricity is consumed by the home or building. There will also need to be some way of distributing electricity throughout the building in order for it to reach every outlet. This can be done with panel boards which are responsible for sending electricity to different parts of the building and distributing it evenly throughout them through outlets and switches.
